In preparation for the upcoming local elections on 2nd May 2019 BACI gave all prospective candidates in Wards within a four-mile radius of the proposed Covanta site – the opportunity to state their current position on this development.
Following this – residents expressed an interest in the views of the prospective Bedford Mayoral Candidates.

Why have some of the candidates not bothered to give there views on the incinerator? Myself and family will not be voting for candidates who have not given a view on the incinerator 😡👎
